Before you can legally start to drive – Get your Provisional Licence.

1. You must have a Provisional Driving Licence. You can get a D1 form “Application for a Driving Licence” , from a Post Office or you can do it all on line. (You can apply 3 months prior to your 17th birthday for a Provisional Driving Licence , but only be valid from your 17th birthday). There is a fee payable currently £34 at 18-07-2015.

2. You are ready to start driving, but it is not advisable to start straight away with parents, friends or partners as bad habits will immediately be transferred. If you do, make sure you are insured to drive. Book in with a professional, trained teacher and bring your licence and any glasses or contact lenses as we will first check that you can read a number plate at 20.5m. We operate a price promise; if your first lesson is not really enjoyed you will not have to pay for it.
