I started learning in August, with a different instructor from a well-known driving school and I hated it. I was being forced to 'take it slow' when I said I wanted to pass by christmas. If I had stayed with them, I would not be passed today. After 1 month of this, I stopped doing lessons for all of September, doing my theory test in this time. At the start of October, my mates who had already passed with Chris, recomended him to me. I started with Chris in early October and on the first lesson Chris let me drive, in full control of the car, unlike my first lesson with my other instructor. Chris is helpful, trusting and an overall nice guy. Most importantly I felt comfortable with him and his very unsubtle hints (you will get to know what I mean when you start learning with him). With Chris I progressed as a driver quickly, doing something new each lesson, keeping me interested. If I was not feeling confident with something, Chris would let me do it until I was. In my 13, 1 and a half hour lessons with Chris, we covered everything about the road, making me feel more than ready to take my test. Chris asked me if I had any criticisms of his teaching style, and I can honestly say no, I couldnt think of anything he could of done better. In early December I passed my test, giving Chris a 100% first time pass rate between me and four other friends. We would all highly recomend Chris. Thanks for all the help.
